Ray Rhamey is a novelist, editor, and book designer. After doing freelance substantive editing of book-length fiction since the establishment of his Internet editing service in 2001, he has expanded his creative services to include book cover and interior design as well as editing. His website, crrreative.com, offers an a la carte menu of creative services for self-publishers and Indie authors, and he can guide authors through the maze of self-publishing.
He has five novels currently available. They are Final Fire, a speculative thriller in which a madman creates a plague to wipe out humanity; Support Your Local Vampire Kitty-Cat, urban fantasy satire; The Hollywood Unmurders, a sequel to Support Your Local Vampire Kitty-Cat; The Summer Boy, a coming-of-age mystery; and Gundown, a thought-provoking speculative thriller that explores a real-world solution for gun violence.
Ray has also published a book based on his editing experience that coaches writers on the craft of storytelling and writing a compelling narrative. Mastering the Craft of Compelling Storytelling is available through your local bookstore and in Kindle and print at Amazon. Editor/publisher Laura Abbott says this about his book: “I’ve read many submissions that were near-misses. If the writers had had the benefit of this book, they’d be published right now.”
