Thanks for sticking with us during the holiday break. Therese and I are pleased that our traffic stayed steady through our 12 days of rest and refueling from blogging. We’re eager to get back to the business of bringing YOU the best of the craft of genre fiction.

And so we’re kicking off 2008 with a dose of high-octane to give your writing juices a kick for the new year. Our interviews for the month of January are with some of the hottest thriller authors in the business.

This Friday we begin a two-part Q&A with bestselling author Joseph Finder, who put nail-biting corporate thrillers on the map. His latest release, POWERPLAY, ruined my disciplined sleep pattern for two nights as I tore through it.

We follow Finder with a Q&A with Tess Gerritsen, internationally bestselling author of medical thrillers. Known for her blistering pace and gory details about the world of medicine, Gerritsen’s current release, THE BONE GARDEN, is a historical that explores the heartbreaking world of early 19th century medical conditions. I couldn’t put it down.

Finally, we finish Nitro January by interviewing Washington D.C. health care policy consultant (for three presidents!) turned novelist: Dr. Jonathan Javitt. His debut thriller, CAPITOL REFLECTIONS, explores power, politics and genetic food modification, and made me shop organic for the first time ever.

We’re also pleased to continue to bring you blogging from the writing trenches by those who’ve been there and who wish to share their wisdom and encouragement with others pursuing their craft. We love our contributors, and we hope you do too.

Therese and I are also working hard to bring you more interviews from publishing professionals. We think you’ll like what we have in store for 2008.

Finally, we humbly thank you, our readers, for visiting us, and making the online writing community a better place. We hope you continue to visit, comment, and write your novel in 2008. We’ll be right there next to you.
