I wish I was one of the ‘efficient’ blocked. Mainly my scores in Minesweeper and FreeCell go up. And the house looks like a three year old set off a bomb…. =)
Oh, if only I was that active when I have writer’s block. Instead I just end up sitting around perusing blogs. Er…. *looks at all the blogs open in her firefox window* I think I’ll go try to accomplish something now. ;)
LOL! Oh my God. It would be even funnier if it weren’t so true! (Says the woman who made whole wheat pancakes this morning and carrot cupcakes with dulce de leche frosting… how did I miss that I was blocked and avoiding my story?)
That’s hysterical…and so spot on! I’ll even clean the litterboxes when I can’t write, because it feels better to check horrible chores off the list than it does to sit in front of a blank screen. Too funny!
Personally I go out into the garden and pull weeds…
Actually my excuse is I’m 70 and infirm! But it doesn’t wash, does it, when I check my emails before my MSS on Word? And as one lady writer once said, if you write 300 words a day you have a novel in less than a year! You’d think I could squeeze that many in.
Now if we could all be sure of acceptances and sales, we’d be at the computer in a flash. I thought I’d made it with 2 romance books, then the next two were turned down. So I’m showing lack of character by procrastinating.
If only I could get up at 5.30a.m. again and do the day’s writing before breakfast! Hah! 8a.m. doesn’t have the same muse attending one.

Hahaha! Hits way close to home — coming soon on my blog: the recipe I’ve found plenty of time to perfect for the softest, chewiest chocolate chip cookies you’ll every want to taste! Ha!
LOL! Oh the things we do to take up the time we should be writing. Cute!
A keeper–had me laughing in recognition by the second panel!
LOL — this is the only way I get housework done, when I’m working out something in my manuscript.

Have you been hanging around my house Debbie? LOL – your comics always help me to laugh, at myself :-) THANK YOU!
ha ha. I would feel so much better if I were that productive when I was blocked.

It’s amazing what I will do rather than write, including move house.
At my house any Rose Levy Birnbaum cake or pie (you know the ones that take half-a-day to make?) signifies that Mommy is running away from her MS!

Awesome!
*snicker* Oh that’s dead on Debbie..I cook, walk, surf the web for stuff I don’t need, and hmmm Oh yeah, wash the bath tub and tickle the kids :-)
LOL man, I’m not even talented enough to do great things like that when I’m blocked. I just read, or walk my dog.
