Desmond, the points you have made about lifting the sagging middle are definitive and helpful. Since I am rewriting, I recognize that I have done aspects of your advice, but as I rewrite and make changes your post will help me zero in. Great stuff.

Desmond, a great reminder about escalation in an MS. Happy to know I’ve got it right in the book sequel in process. Right at the midpoint! Now writing to get there, adding more obstacles, tension and losses along the way! Thanks! Your post drives me forward! 📚🎶 Christine

Three more excellent, useful drops. While you explain them in terms of novel-writing, we short-story writers can apply them as well. Thanks, Desmond!
