Catherine McKenzie was born and raised in Montreal, Canada. A graduate of McGill in History and Law, Catherine is now the author of numerous bestsellers including HIDDEN, FRACTURED, THE GOOD LIAR and I’LL NEVER TELL. Her works have been translated into multiple languages.
Catherine’s latest novel, SIX WEEKS TO LIVE, released on April 20th in Canada and May 4th in the US. What’s the story about? She’s here today to tell us.
Q: What’s the premise of your new book?
CM: A woman discovers she has only six weeks to live, but might also have been poisoned a year ago. She decides to use her time left to discover who wanted her gone.

CM: It’s a fast-paced suspense novel with multi-layered family issues woven in.
Q: What do your characters have to overcome in this story? What challenge do you set before them?
CM: Jennifer needs to discover who might have wanted her dead, but also why.

Q: What unique challenges did this book pose for you, if any?
CM: Jennifer has adult triplets and it was a challenge to write three different people and voices from each of their perspective.
Q: What has been the most rewarding aspect of having written this book?
CM: It’s always satisfying to me when the idea in my head comes out on the page.
