Welcome to the latest video in our “Helping Fellow Authors in the Age of COVID-19″ (HFAAC) series! Today we’re profiling Christine Meade and her new release, THE WAY YOU BURN!
Please help spread the word for Christine by directing folks to this video, to her website, or to any book online book retailer.
Comments are open for questions and a show of community support! And though we have included a longer book preview below that includes a buy link to Amazon, this is an ideal time to wholeheartedly support functioning indie outlets.
Writer Unboxed began as a collaboration between Kathleen Bolton and Therese Walsh in 2006. Since then, the site has grown to include ~50 regular contributors and a variety of guests on rotation throughout a given year.
In 2016, the Writer Unboxed team published a book with Writer’s Digest / Random House. AUTHOR IN PROGRESS: A No-Holds-Barred Guide to What It Really Takes to Get Published is a comprehensive guide focused on helping writers over/around/through hurdles faced at every stage of the novel-writing process. It’s received some ***** reviews; we hope you’ll check it out.
If you’d like to be among the first to know about the next Writer Unboxed UnConference, which will likely tie-in with WU’s 20th Anniversary celebration, please sign up for our mailing list!
Christine, the book sounds interesting, and I think your advice is spot-on. Wishing you the best with it. Enjoy your (I’m guessing rustic) NH setting. Hope you’re keeping cabin fever at bay.
Thanks for being here, Christine! I’ve been puttering around the edges of She Writes for years and was excited by their new publishing arm. One of my friends was published through them and found it an excellent experience.
That moment of leaving home is always fascinating. Good choice! And as a newcomer to northern New England, the NH setting appeals to me. Best of luck with your launch in this strange time.
