Quick but Tweet-Worthy Announcements

We’re excited to announce that we’re bringing on a weekend contributor to talk all things TWITTER. Our choice is no stranger to you–she’s been a longtime member of the WU community–and she is known here and elsewhere for her Twitter savvy. Of course we mean Nina Badzin!

We’d also like to take this opportunity to congratulate WU contributor Barbara O’Neal for her latest RITA win (for her novel, How to Bake a Perfect Life, which is certifiably delicious). Barbara’s win means she has accumulated enough RITA awards to be indicted into RWA’s Hall of Fame. Read more about it HERE, and congrats, Barbara!
But wait, there’s more! WU contributor Ann Aguirre also took home a RITA win this past year–in the category of Best Young Adult Romance–for her novel Enclave, which is currently on the USA Today Bestseller list! Congrats, Ann!
Writer Unboxed began as a collaboration between Kathleen Bolton and Therese Walsh in 2006. Since then, the site has grown to include ~50 regular contributors and a variety of guests on rotation throughout a given year.
In 2016, the Writer Unboxed team published a book with Writer’s Digest / Random House. AUTHOR IN PROGRESS: A No-Holds-Barred Guide to What It Really Takes to Get Published is a comprehensive guide focused on helping writers over/around/through hurdles faced at every stage of the novel-writing process. It’s received some ***** reviews; we hope you’ll check it out.
