Abe who? Happy birthday to author Judy Blume!

Great linkie find of the week: A PDF file of Holly Lisle’s 200+ page book Mugging the Muse, online HERE.

Now normally I wouldn’t post a game (because I don’t like fun–hah) but I couldn’t resist this one. See those 9 dots over there? Yeah, those. How can you connect them using only 4 lines without picking up your pencil (finger, whatever) or going through a dot more than once?

Got an answer? Does it look like this?

Photobucket - Video and Image HostingThe key was to go outside of the box, natch. :)

Sorry for the short-and-soft post, but Kathleen and I, and some other writer buds, are in a writers’ challenge to the death this week. ‘Twill be a bloody battle, I’m sure. Next week I’ll post my latest brainchild: Flip that Manuscript!

Write on, all!

    Nice job, Jeremy!

Now no cheating for the rest of ya’ll. Try to figure it out yourselves!

Maybe I’m crazy, but it looks like Jeremy went through the center dot twice?

Oops, you’re right, Bryan! (Sorry, Jeremy! See what happens before I’ve had enough caffeine in the a.m.?) Still, Jeremy has the right idea; it just needs some tweaking. Keep working at it…

Jeebus, Teri, I just wasted half my lunch hour on this. Crazy hard!
